First Impressions

According to a Harvard University study, you have 5-7 seconds to make a “favorable” or “unfavorable” impression when you first meet someone.
This first impression is made up of:
55% on HOW WE LOOK (our clothing, hair style, makeup, etc.)
38% on HOW WE STAND (our posture and how we speak)
7% on WHAT WE SAY

The services I provide through The Image Enhancement Studio will help you to look your personal best so that you make that “favorable” first impression every day in your personal and professional life!

What is Color Analysis?

Color analysis, also called skin tone color matching, personal color or seasonal color, is the process of finding colors of clothing and makeup to match a person’s natural coloring – especially skin complexion, eye color, and hair color. It is often used as an aid to wardrobe planning and style consulting. There are a wide variety of approaches to analyzing personal coloring. The most well-known is “seasonal” color analysis, which places individual coloring into four general categories: Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn.

Color analysis can save you time, money, and closet space. If you know what colors work best for you, you can shop more efficiently, leave the clothes that don’t flatter you in the store (with barely a glance), and shrink your wardrobe. Plus, wearing the right colors makes you look and feel good.

Eye or Lip Liner Sharpening Tip!

Aside

If your pencils get “chewed up” or they “break off” while sharpening them, try this sharpenertechnique……..

  1. Place your eye or lip liner pencil into the sharpener about 3/4’s of the way in.
  2. Press the pencil up toward the cutting blade.
  3. Gently twist the pencil.

I think you’ll find this tip works, and you’ll get a much longer life out of your pencil!
